This is the 3rd annual ride to honor those who worked in Louisiana Emergency Medical Services.
Where?
Start in New Orleans at Delgado Community College and riding to the State Fairgrounds on Hwy 61 in Baton Rouge.
How To Participate?
Each rider is required to complete the registration form. There is a $50 registration fee. Each rider will be expected to raise a minimum $50 in funds from sponsors. Map of route.

Second Annual Mad Scientist Cycle

Bike ride raises funds to support hands-on STEM education for students in our region. Don't miss this scenic, rural, bicycle ride. The short, medium and long routes accommodate both the experienced and amateur cyclists.  Free benefits: gift bag, t-shirt, rest stops w/ snacks and refreshments. This ride is open to cyclists only; riders must be age 16 or older.  Tow-behinds are not permitted.  Parental signature on a waiver is required for riders under age 18. Saturday, July 3 Registration open for $35!  The ride is limited to 500 riders, so sign up today!
Friday, September 3 Last day to purchase your Mad Scientist Logo Jersey to wear on ride day.  (Jerseys purchased after this date will be shipped to riders after the ride.)
Wednesday, September 29 Late registration begins for $40.
Thursday, October 14 Online ride registration closes.  However, you can register on ride day at the starting line.
Friday, October 15 Early ride number and jersey pick-up at Sci-Port between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday, October 16Day of ride registration is $50.  Mad Scientist Cycle for Sci-Port begins at 8 a.m., rain or shine.
